Meet the team
Founded by his father Terry in 1987, Andrew joined the company in 1990. Soon the business flourished and Andrew has made investments in a new state-of-the-art ARC in 2003 and more recently a brand new back-up centre in Derby. Still a family run business to this day, Andrew continues to drive for the ultimate in customer service.
Michael started with EMCS as an office junior way back in 1994. Having at some point worked within all departments Michael has gained an extensive understanding of the expectations and requirements of our clients. Michael is now responsible for the day to day running of the administration department.

Cherie O'Connor- Credit Control Manager. Jennie Caulton & Stephanie Manley - Credit Controllers.
Having joined EMCS back in 2005 Cherie now oversees the Credit control department, ably assisted by Jennie Caulton and Stephanie Manley. The whole of the credit control team started initially within the administration department which has enabled them to forge strong working relationships with our customers, and therefore held them in good stead for their current roles.
Ramiz has been with EMCS pretty much since our inception. As Operations Manager Ramiz is an integral member of the EMCS team. As well as overseeing the operation here which includes the admin, control room and cctv departments, Ramiz also deals with our quality control and the implementation of new standards. email@example.com
Sales & Customer Services Manager
Claire has worked with in the ARC industry since 1998, joining EMCS in 2000. After spending time in the admin and order processing department, Claire now heads up the sales and customer service team. A good understanding of Industry standards, as well as our internal procedures, assists with the customer services side of things. Claire is also responsible for business development.
Business Development Manager
Kelly Joined EMCS in 2001 and worked within the Administration department before joining the Sales & Customer Service team in 2003; a keen understanding of the needs and expectations of the Installer demographic assist Kelly in developing and marketing new products and services for EMCS and our customers. She is also responsible for the day to day running of the Sales & Customer Service office.
Regional Account Manager
Tom came on board in 2006 bringing a wealth of industry knowledge with him having spent some 30 years with BT and subsequently BT Redcare, where he ran the Sales operation. Tom focuses on looking after customers old & new within the Northern part of the UK, including Scotland.

Edward is the 3rd generation of the Barge family within the company’s history (The company was founded by Grandfather Terry Barge in 1987) and he is extremely passionate about the future of EMCS; Ed spent 3 years working in the Operations department prior to joining the Sales Department in January 2012, supporting Tom Bell looking after existing clients within the Northern region. Sales & Customer Services Co-OrdinatorAshley initially began as sales office assistant, he proved to gain an understanding of the products and services EMCS offer very quickly and was soon promoted to Sales Co-ordinator. Ashley now supports our field sales team in generating new business and provides account management to our existing clients.
Liam joined EMCS in August 2012 following completion of his ICT diploma, he also has previous experience in a technical support role working for a major retailer. Since joining Liam has gleaned a keen understanding of the Fire & Security Industry as well as the inner workings of an ARC.
